Key Responsibilities
- Complete a structured training program to learn claims adjusting principles, policies, and procedures.
- Investigate and gather information regarding claims by communicating with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
- Document claim details accurately and thoroughly in our claims management system.
- Assist senior adjusters in evaluating damages and determining coverage for various types of claims.
- Communicate claim status and decisions clearly and professionally to policyholders.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and legal, to ensure efficient claims resolution.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and empathy during all interactions.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated empathy and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid G-class driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for potential field work (mileage reimbursed).
