Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in and complete all assigned on-the-job training modules and tasks.
  • Learn to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Assist senior Millwrights with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled repairs.
  • Develop skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform general shop duties and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions meticulously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or trades-related environment (even entry-level).
  • Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
