Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to various destinations within Mont-Royal and surrounding areas.
- Efficiently load, unload, and organize packages in the delivery vehicle according to delivery routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate package delivery.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure secure transit.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent in Quebec) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Mont-Royal and greater Montreal area roadways.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
