Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate measurements and precise fittings for custom garments and alterations.
- Perform a wide range of alterations including resizing, restyling, and repairing various types of apparel.
- Execute custom garment construction from start to finish, adhering to design specifications and client preferences.
- Provide expert consultation to clients on fabric selection, fit, style, and garment care.
- Operate and maintain a variety of sewing machines (industrial and domestic) and specialized tailoring equipment.
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, paying meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage workflow efficiently to meet client deadlines and production schedules.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales and design teams to ensure seamless client experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and advancements in tailoring.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a professional Tailor or Seamstress.
- Expertise in all aspects of garment construction, alterations, and repairs.
- Proficiency in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines and pressing equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of various fabric types, their properties, and proper handling techniques.
