Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linen, towels, and guest laundry according to established procedures.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear before and after laundering, reporting any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the laundry area.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to supervisor.
- Handle delicate items with care and follow specific instructions for different fabric types.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure timely delivery and collection of linen.
- Assist with other general duties as required to support hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and push/pull laundry carts for extended periods.
