Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and creative Promotions Coordinator with a passion for event management and marketing to join our dynamic team in Toronto. Based at the iconic CBC Museum, this role is crucial in developing, implementing, and overseeing promotional campaigns for a diverse range of events, exhibitions, and public programs. As a Promotions Coordinator, you will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement, and ensuring the successful execution of our promotional strategies across multiple platforms.

You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, programming, and partnerships, as well as external vendors and media partners, to craft compelling narratives and impactful campaigns. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and track comprehensive promotional plans for events, exhibitions, and programs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, programming, sales) and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign delivery.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of promotional materials, including digital content, print collateral, and advertising assets.
  • Oversee social media campaigns and engage with online communities to build event buzz and drive attendance.
  • Liaise with media outlets for press releases, media kits, and coverage opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing future promotional efforts.
  • Assist with on-site event promotion and support, including set-up, tear-down, and direct interaction with attendees.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in promotions, marketing, or event coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of engaging copywriting.
