Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Concierge to be the welcoming face and watchful eye of our vibrant office lobby in Croxteth, Liverpool. This dual-faceted role is critical to maintaining a secure, friendly, and efficient environment for all employees, clients, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance.
- Manage access control systems, issuing temporary passes, and ensuring only authorised personnel enter the premises.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and deter security breaches or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the lobby and designated common areas, identifying and reporting any security risks or maintenance issues.
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and daily activities.
- Provide directions, answer inquiries, and offer general support to tenants and visitors with a helpful and professional attitude.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and visitor management.
- Collaborate closely with facilities management and other internal teams to ensure a cohesive and safe working environment.
- Assist with package deliveries and mail distribution as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security or customer service role, preferably within a corporate or hospitality environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and articulate manner.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate CCTV and access control systems.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Customer-centric approach with a polite and helpful disposition.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during emergency situations.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (Door Supervisor or Security Guard).
- First Aid at Work certification or willingness to obtain.
