Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare meeting rooms for scheduled events, including arranging furniture, ensuring cleanliness, and stocking supplies (whiteboard markers, notepads, water, etc.).
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot audiovisual (AV) equipment, including projectors, screens, video conferencing systems, and microphones, before and during meetings.
  • Provide immediate technical support for AV issues during meetings, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Conduct daily checks of all meeting rooms to ensure equipment is functional and rooms are tidy and ready for use.
  • Assist with the organization and proper storage of meeting room equipment and supplies.
  • Manage room booking conflicts and provide alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Administrative teams to coordinate meeting room services.
  • Maintain an inventory of meeting room supplies and initiate replenishment requests.
  • Assist with special event setups and reconfigurations as required.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot audiovisual technology quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move furniture as needed.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some prior experience in a customer service or support role (volunteer experience welcome).
  • Familiarity with various video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
