Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily collection and analysis of market data, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts.
  • Support the Revenue Management team in implementing tactical pricing adjustments and inventory controls across various booking platforms.
  • Learn to interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) like RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate actively in weekly revenue strategy meetings, contributing observations and insights where appropriate.
  • Help maintain the accuracy and integrity of reservation systems and online distribution channels.
  • Conduct basic audits of online travel agency (OTA) content, rates, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to understand operational impacts on revenue generation.
  • Undertake special projects and analyses as assigned to enhance overall revenue performance.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of revenue management software, property management systems (PMS), and analytical tools.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for numbers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) or revenue management systems (RMS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of a second language, particularly French or Mandarin, is considered an asset.
