As a Benefits Administrator, you will serve as a primary and trusted point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries, guiding them through complex policy information, enrollment processes, and claims resolution with utmost clarity, professionalism, and compassion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, involving everything from meticulously processing new enrollments, life event changes, and employee terminations, to meticulously assisting with our annual open enrollment periods. You will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulatory requirements, meticulously maintaining accurate and confidential benefits records across all platforms. We are specifically seeking someone who not only possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of benefits administration but also demonstrates a genuine desire to help others navigate their health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and retirement plans, providing exceptional support at every turn.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans (e.g., RRSP, DPSP).
- Process new employee enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues.
- Facilitate and communicate during annual open enrollment periods, ensuring employees understand their options and complete necessary documentation.
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate benefits records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, provincial, and local benefits regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with HR team members and external benefits providers to optimize program effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications, summaries, and educational materials.
- Assist with benefits audits and respond to information requests as needed.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of Canadian benefits legislation and regulations (e.g., CRA, provincial health plans).
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Ceridian).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- GBA (Group Benefits Associate) designation or actively pursuing.
- Experience working with multiple benefits vendors and complex plan designs.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
