Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Optimize inventory control procedures, conduct regular stock checks, and minimize discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce operational processes to maximize output and quality while minimizing errors.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., transport, customer service) to ensure seamless workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including supervisory or team leader roles.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in health and safety regulations pertinent to warehouse environments.
