Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate input of payroll data, including hours, wages, deductions, and new hire information, into the payroll system.
- Verify timesheet data and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Maintain organized and confidential payroll records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries as required by management.
- Support the payroll team with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data verification.
- Learn and apply company payroll policies and procedures, along with provincial and federal payroll regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR and Accounting departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
