Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing accurate information and effective solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including lobbies, lounges, and common facilities.
  • Support the food and beverage team during peak times, including setting up dining areas, serving, and clearing tables.
  • Handle telephone calls and reservations with professionalism, accurately recording guest details and preferences.
  • Provide information about resort amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with all resort departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality service delivery.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and resort policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a resort or hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and points of interest in Bristol.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
