Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and motivated Building Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team in Rothesay, New Brunswick. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a knack for hands-on tasks, and a desire to contribute to the upkeep and functionality of various properties, without the need for formal certification. If you’re practical, reliable, and enjoy a dynamic work environment where every day brings new challenges, we want to hear from you!
In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained for tenants and visitors alike. Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of tasks, from performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to addressing minor repairs and assisting skilled tradespeople. We understand that not everyone comes with a diploma, but we highly value practical experience gained through personal projects, previous labour-intensive roles, or an innate ability to fix things around the house. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where you can develop your skills, learn from experienced professionals, and grow within our organization. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys varied tasks and seeing the direct results of their effort in a tangible way. You’ll be responsible for contributing to the overall tenant satisfaction and ensuring our facilities remain welcoming and operational.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and has a proactive approach to problem-solving. While specific certifications are not a prerequisite, a solid understanding of basic tools, general repairs, and adherence to safety procedures is highly beneficial. You will be a crucial part of a cohesive team that maintains a high standard of property appearance and operational efficiency across multiple sites in the Rothesay area. This includes everything from painting and patching to light plumbing and electrical support, always under supervision where specialized skills are required. If you are eager to learn, physically capable, and ready to make a tangible impact in our community, this Full-Time On-site position offers a stable career path with a company that values its employees and invests in their practical development.
