Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans for clients, including investment, retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning strategies.
  • Conduct thorough financial needs analyses and risk assessments to tailor personalized advice.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive service.
  • Educate clients on financial concepts, market trends, and product offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals to grow client base.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic conditions to provide relevant and timely advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., investment research, tax specialists) to ensure integrated client solutions.
  • Adhere strictly to compliance regulations and ethical standards set by relevant financial authorities.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and proposals to clients.

Required Skills

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is mandatory.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Profound knowledge of financial products, services, and investment strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Additional industry designations (e.g., CFA, CIM, CLU).
  • Proven track record of business development and client acquisition.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
