Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct research on new and changing employment laws, providing summaries and recommendations to the HR team.
- Support the preparation and submission of compliance-related reports and documentation (e.g., EEO-1, OSHA logs, FMLA tracking).
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity and privacy standards are met.
- Assist with internal audits of HR processes and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Help organize and maintain compliance training materials for employees and management.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
- Participate in the onboarding process by ensuring all new hire paperwork is compliant and correctly filed.
