Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, authorization, and adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements to internal records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or outstanding issues promptly.
- Prepare and process payment runs to suppliers in a timely manner, verifying all necessary documentation and approvals.
- Maintain organized vendor files and documentation, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
- Respond professionally to supplier queries and internal stakeholder requests regarding invoice and payment status.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Support the wider finance team with various administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles or bookkeeping concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
