Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Live-Out Nanny to join a welcoming family in the desirable Bathurst Manor neighbourhood of Toronto. As a Live-Out Nanny, you will become an integral part of a family’s daily life, responsible for the well-being, safety, and development of their children. Your role will encompass a range of duties designed to support the children’s growth, education, and recreational activities, all while maintaining a tidy and organized child-related environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Organize and participate in educational and recreational activities suitable for the children's age and developmental stage.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Assist children with homework and school projects, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Manage children's schedules, including school pickups/drop-offs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area and children's rooms.
- Engage in light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as doing their laundry.
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Administer medication as required, with proper authorization and training.
- Plan and execute creative outings and activities to stimulate development and engagement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of professional childcare experience.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to plan and execute age-appropriate activities and educational games.
- Non-smoker.
- Clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or relevant childcare certifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with children of varying age groups (infants, toddlers, school-aged).
- Proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Previous experience working for families with visa sponsorship requirements.
