Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Inventory Assistant to join our growing team in Surfside, Huntington Beach. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation.
- Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas for efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Prepare and stage materials for production orders, ensuring timely delivery to manufacturing lines.
- Safely operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after receiving appropriate training.
- Support the shipping department by preparing outgoing shipments and verifying documentation.
- Identify and report any damaged, defective, or missing inventory items promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (even part-time or volunteer).
- Familiarity with inventory management concepts or systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
