Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership for the school's academic and operational functions.
  • Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and assessment to ensure alignment with provincial standards and best practices.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and mentor teaching and administrative staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration.
  • Manage the school budget effectively, allocating resources to support educational programs and operational needs.
  • Develop and implement school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the broader community, promoting active engagement and partnership.
  • Address student disciplinary issues and promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance instructional practices and leadership skills.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to advance the school's mission and long-term goals.
  • Ensure the physical environment of the school is safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning.
