As a Retirement Home Server, you will play a pivotal role in the daily lives of our residents, helping to create a welcoming and dignified mealtime environment. Key Responsibilities
- Serve meals and beverages to residents in the dining room and, when necessary, in their rooms, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist residents with menu choices, offering friendly guidance and support.
- Set up and clear dining areas efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, and glassware, and ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept tidy and hygienic.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Engage with residents in a respectful and friendly manner, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and care team members regarding resident needs and feedback.
- Replenish supplies in dining areas and report any inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of meal services.
