Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily animal care routines, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health and behaviour.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of animal enclosures, exhibits, and public park areas to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Engage positively with park visitors, providing information about the animals, exhibits, and park policies.
  • Support the senior park staff in habitat enrichment activities and minor enclosure repairs.
  • Report any unusual animal behaviour, health concerns, or safety hazards immediately to management.
  • Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies for animal care and park operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and animal welfare guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment.
