Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe docking and undocking of the ferry, handling lines and securing the vessel.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the ferry's interior and exterior to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Monitor passenger activity on deck and within common areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing directions and general assistance.
- Participate in safety drills and respond to emergency situations as directed by senior crew members.
- Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual observations to the Captain or Mate.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and environmental protection.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient ferry operations.
- Perform general labour duties as required to support vessel operations.
