Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Area Manager to oversee the operational excellence and strategic growth of multiple locations within the Glen Burnie, Maryland region. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and performance of multiple locations within the assigned area, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, operational goals, and profitability metrics.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate store managers and their teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess operational effectiveness, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation across all locations to maximize financial performance.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and enforce all health, safety, and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Marketing, HR, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless regional support and initiative execution.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit management, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a related service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales, operational, and financial targets.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant business management software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with P&L management and budgeting for multiple business units.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behaviors in the Glen Burnie, MD area.
