Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload from initial consultation through to resolution, adhering to legal standards and client objectives.
  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on a broad range of legal matters.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and various dispute resolution forums.
  • Collaborate with senior partners and legal teams to develop innovative case strategies and solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all ethical guidelines and professional conduct standards.
  • Mentor junior legal staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.

Required Skills

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales with a current practising certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a reputable legal firm.
  • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding caseload independently and effectively.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including advocacy and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking.
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Proficiency in legal practice management software and research tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific expertise in a particular area of law relevant to the firm's practice (e.g., Commercial Litigation, Property Law, Family Law).
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development.
  • Postgraduate qualification in law or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully litigating complex cases.
