Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior automotive technicians with various repair and maintenance tasks, observing and learning best practices.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic component wear.
- Execute foundational services such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and basic brake checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the service bay and surrounding areas.
- Learn to accurately use and care for shop tools, equipment, and basic diagnostic devices.
- Document services performed and communicate findings clearly to senior staff or service advisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
- Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to expand automotive knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an undeniable eagerness to learn and develop automotive skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of tools and their practical applications, even if self-taught.
