Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, buffets, and service stations according to event specifications.
- Prepare and transport food and beverage items safely and efficiently from kitchen areas to event locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all serving areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces before, during, and after events.
- Replenish food and beverage supplies as needed, ensuring continuous service throughout the event.
- Operate basic catering equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleanup duties post-event to ensure the venue is left spotless.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Be prepared for physical demands, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and moving quickly in busy environments.
