As a key member of our HR team, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and senior leadership to provide expert advice on compensation-related matters. You will also take the lead on special compensation projects, such as job evaluations, incentive plan design, and the analysis of compensation trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market pricing analyses and participate in national and international salary surveys.
- Develop, maintain, and administer salary structures, job classifications, and compensation guidelines.
- Analyze compensation data, trends, and survey results to identify areas for improvement and ensure competitiveness.
- Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increases, bonus payouts, and long-term incentives.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to HR Business Partners and management on compensation-related issues, including job offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Lead or participate in job evaluation processes to ensure internal equity and consistency.
- Ensure compensation programs comply with all relevant federal, provincial, and local regulations and company policies.
- Prepare various compensation reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and communication of new compensation programs or revisions to existing ones.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and methodologies (market pricing, job evaluation).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or working towards certification.
- Experience in a large, multi-national, or complex organizational environment.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations pertaining to compensation.
