Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior cleaning, including washing, waxing, compounding, and polishing to remove scratches and swirl marks.
- Execute comprehensive interior cleaning, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, steam cleaning, and treating leather surfaces.
- Clean and restore vehicle components such as wheels, tires, engine bays, and trim to their original luster.
- Apply protective coatings and sealants to vehicle surfaces for enhanced durability and shine.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and complete all detailing tasks to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and maintain detailing equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines for chemical handling and equipment operation.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle status and potential issues.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient detailing bay.
- Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in automotive detailing, including exterior and interior processes.
- Proficiency with detailing tools and equipment (buffers, extractors, pressure washers, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of automotive cleaning products, chemicals, and their safe application.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift regularly throughout the workday.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional detailing certification (e.g., IDA certification).
- Experience with ceramic coatings and paint correction techniques.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle detailing standards.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
