Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ERP Consultant to join our growing team in Towson, Maryland. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a professional who is passionate about leveraging enterprise resource planning systems to drive operational excellence and strategic growth for diverse clients. As an ERP Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our client engagements, responsible for the full lifecycle implementation, customization, and optimization of ERP solutions.
You will play a pivotal role in understanding complex business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and configuring ERP systems to meet unique client needs. This involves working closely with stakeholders from various departments, including finance, operations, supply chain, and human resources, to ensure seamless integration and user adoption. Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in full lifecycle ERP implementations, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Analyze client business processes and requirements, translating them into effective ERP solutions.
- Perform system configuration, customization, and integration of ERP modules to align with client needs.
- Develop and execute test plans, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide comprehensive training and user support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of ERP systems.
- Create detailed documentation for system design, configurations, processes, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices within ERP systems.
- Stay current with ERP technologies, trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an ERP Consultant or similar role.
- Proven experience with at least one major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of core business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in data migration strategies and tools.
- Experience in developing and delivering user training programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or relevant ERP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365).
- Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions.
- Background in a consulting environment.
- Project management experience or PMP certification.
