You will be responsible for orchestrating the entire escrow process from initiation to close, coordinating seamlessly with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and legal counsel. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process a high volume of escrow transactions from opening to closing.
- Review and interpret complex purchase agreements, title commitments, and lender instructions.
- Prepare and execute escrow instructions, closing statements, and other related documents accurately.
- Act as a neutral third party, facilitating clear communication and coordination between all transaction parties (buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys).
- Maintain strict adherence to all legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements, particularly concerning UK conveyancing and property law.
- Calculate and disburse funds accurately, ensuring all conditions of the escrow are met prior to release.
- Oversee the timely recording of deeds and other essential property documents with relevant authorities.
- Proactively identify and resolve transaction issues, discrepancies, and challenges efficiently and professionally.
- Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries, and explaining complex processes clearly and patiently.
- Manage and maintain detailed, organised transaction files and records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Escrow Officer, Conveyancer, or similar role (minimum 4 years).
- In-depth knowledge of real estate transaction processes, legal documents, and industry regulations (specific to UK conveyancing context where applicable).
