Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize fresh produce deliveries, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Stock and replenish produce displays creatively and efficiently throughout the day.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and offer outstanding service.
- Accurately weigh, price, and package produce items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the produce section, including shelves, floors, and display units.
- Monitor product freshness, rotate stock to minimize waste, and identify items needing removal.
- Operate basic point-of-sale (POS) systems for customer transactions (training provided).
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic inventory checks and stock rotation procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
