Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing of all assigned areas.
  • Ensure all rooms and common areas are cared for and inspected according to specific standards.
  • Change bed linen and make beds meticulously, as required.
  • Replenish amenities and supplies in designated areas (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens, lounge areas).
  • Notify management of any damages, deficiencies, or needs for repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines for chemical handling.
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within established deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar cleaning role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Good physical stamina and mobility, with the ability to lift reasonable weights.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their proper usage.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or commercial cleaning environment.
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations.
  • Basic understanding of English for communication and instructions.
  • Customer service orientation.
