Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking an accomplished and dynamic HR Director – Executive to lead our human resources function. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies that align with and support our ambitious business objectives. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be instrumental in cultivating a high-performance culture, driving organizational development, and ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a fast-evolving environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's overall business objectives and long-term vision.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on all human capital matters, including organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee the full talent lifecycle, from sophisticated talent acquisition strategies to robust performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent, ensuring compliance and equity.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring high levels of service delivery, expertise, and continuous professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness through talent management, performance frameworks, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and demonstrate the value of HR initiatives.
  • Lead and manage HR technology implementations and improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive HR role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, organizational development, talent management, and change leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing HR teams.
  • Strategic business acumen and the ability to link HR initiatives to business outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and HR analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, MBA, or related advanced degree.
  • CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or evolving industry.
  • Familiarity with HR technology implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
