Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of import shipments from origin to destination.
- Prepare and process essential import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and and bills of lading.
- Communicate effectively with clients, overseas agents, carriers, and customs brokers regarding shipment status and requirements.
- Track and trace shipments, providing timely updates to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Support senior coordinators with problem-solving and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all import activities.
- Learn and apply knowledge of Incoterms, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize logistics processes.
