Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client IT environments and business needs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design, recommend, and implement tailored IT solutions (e.g., cloud migrations, network upgrades, security enhancements, data backup strategies).
- Lead and manage IT projects from initial scoping and planning through to successful deployment and post-implementation review.
- Provide expert technical advice and strategic guidance to clients on IT strategy, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including system designs, project plans, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and optimal solution delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure that implemented solutions meet client specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Stay continuously updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative and future-proof solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely, effective resolutions to minimize client downtime.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a reliable technical advisor.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an IT consulting or senior IT support role.
- Proven expertise in network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VLANs).
- Strong working knowledge of leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) including IaaS and PaaS services.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and best practices (firewall configuration, endpoint protection, identity and access management, data privacy regulations).
- Extensive experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant IT discipline or Business Administration.
- Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems implementation or integration.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and system management.
- Prior experience working in a fully remote consulting environment with diverse client portfolios.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity implementation.
