Job Description

Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a highly motivated and analytical Lean Coordinator to spearhead process improvement initiatives within our dynamic operations. Based in the vibrant Kensington-Chinatown district of Toronto, this full-time role offers a unique opportunity to embed Lean principles across various departments, driving efficiency, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As our Lean Coordinator, you will be a pivotal force in optimizing workflows and enhancing productivity. You’ll be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, analyzing current state processes, and designing future state solutions that align with our strategic objectives. This isn’t just about tweaking existing systems; it’s about fundamentally rethinking how we operate to deliver maximum value to our customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, from production and logistics to customer service and administration, providing training, mentorship, and practical support in the application of Lean tools and methodologies.

Your day-to-day will involve conducting value stream mapping, leading Kaizen events, implementing 5S programs, and utilizing data-driven approaches to measure the impact of implemented changes. We expect you to be a proactive problem-solver, someone who can not only identify issues but also articulate compelling solutions and lead their execution. Success in this role means tangible improvements in operational metrics, increased employee engagement in improvement efforts, and a measurable reduction in operational costs and lead times.

We are seeking a Lean enthusiast with a proven track record of facilitating successful process optimization projects. You should possess exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, from front-line staff to senior leadership. If you are passionate about dissecting complex problems, building consensus, and empowering teams to achieve operational excellence, then Hiring.zycto is the place for you to make a significant impact. We offer a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is actively supported. This is an exciting chance to shape the efficiency landscape of a growing company in a culturally rich part of Toronto.
