Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients' needs and preferences through detailed consultations and postural analysis.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of massage techniques (e.g., deep tissue, Swedish, sports, myofascial release, prenatal).
- Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services in a professional and ethical manner.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including SOAP notes and treatment progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, remedial exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Manage personal schedule and appointment bookings efficiently using provided tools.
- Cultivate and grow a loyal client base through exceptional service and professionalism.
- Adhere to all professional standards, provincial regulations, and clinic policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment room and equipment.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) designation in British Columbia.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a clinical or spa setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities.
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional client service and rapport-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own practice effectively.
- Current professional liability insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
