Job Description
Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our vibrant team on the Day Shift in Humber Bay Shores, Toronto. As a pivotal member of our operations, you will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our facility, ensuring that our products and components are handled with the utmost care and precision. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to our daily operations. From meticulously receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to accurately storing materials in their designated locations, your work will directly impact our productivity. You’ll operate essential material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and skilled manner, moving goods to and from various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Safely and efficiently move materials to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Prepare and stage materials for production, assembly, or outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through meticulous data entry and regular cycle counts.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of all materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse organization, cleanup, and maintenance duties.
- Report any material discrepancies, damages, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to optimize workflow.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
