Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select and pick merchandise from warehouse locations based on picking tickets or voice-picking system.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and ensure items match order specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, skids, and shelving.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and verification.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (3+ months) as an order selector or in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with RF scanners or voice-picking systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
