Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Panel Beaters with vehicle disassemblies, reassemblies, and various repair tasks.
- Perform basic bodywork, including sanding, grinding, minor dent removal, and panel preparation.
- Learn to identify vehicle damage and understand repair methodologies under supervision.
- Operate and maintain a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Prepare vehicles for paint, including masking, priming, and surface preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Follow manufacturer repair specifications and company standards to ensure high-quality repairs.
- Continuously learn new techniques and adapt to evolving automotive technologies.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair status and challenges.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the trade.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
