Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Policy Analyst to join our team in Houghs Neck, Quincy. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on relevant policy issues, utilizing diverse data sources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and programs, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Formulate evidence-based policy recommendations and develop strategic implementation plans.
- Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, memoranda, and presentations for various audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and subject matter experts to gather insights and build consensus.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at local, state, and federal levels.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and public forums to represent the organization's policy positions.
- Assist in the development of communication strategies to effectively disseminate policy findings and recommendations.
- Provide expert advice and support to decision-makers on policy-related matters.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) of experience in policy analysis, research, or a related government relations role.
- Proven ability to conduct rigorous research and synthesize complex information effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in technical writing and public speaking.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, statistical software).
- Strong understanding of the policy-making process and governmental structures.
