You will work closely with subject matter experts, sales teams, and leadership to understand project requirements, gather necessary information, and develop comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other business development opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development, from initial strategy and outline creation to final submission and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical experts, and project managers to gather information, clarify requirements, and align proposal content with strategic objectives.
  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, persuasive, and technically accurate proposals, ensuring adherence to all RFP guidelines and deadlines.
  • Develop compelling narratives and value propositions that effectively communicate Hiring.zycto's capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Maintain and update a library of reusable content, standard templates, and boilerplate language to streamline future proposal efforts.
  • Conduct research on potential clients, industry trends, and competitor offerings to inform proposal strategy and content.
  • Participate in review cycles, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance proposal quality.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone, and messaging across all proposal materials.
  • Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a remote work environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in proposal writing, grant writing, or technical writing, preferably in a B2B or consulting environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical information and business concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive language.
  • Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and other formal solicitations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
  • Strategic thinking with an understanding of sales processes and client acquisition strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, Qvidian, Loopio).
  • Experience in specific industries relevant to Hiring.zycto's focus (e.g., IT, Government Contracting, Healthcare, Financial Services).
  • Certification in Proposal Management (e.g., APMP Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional).
