Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic interpretations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide direct patient care, therapeutic interventions, education, and counseling in accordance with professional scope of practice and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient records and documentation, adhering to privacy regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, codes of conduct, and legislative requirements governing your specific health profession in Ontario.
- Participate in continuous professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Valid professional license/registration with the appropriate regulatory college in your country of origin (or eligibility for registration in Ontario, Canada).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a regulated health profession.
- Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); French proficiency is an asset.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in a regulated health field.
- Specialized certifications or advanced training relevant to the practice area.
- Experience working within a multi-cultural patient population or diverse healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare system and regulatory frameworks (though not mandatory, as training will be provided).
