Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking an experienced and passionate Remote Scrum Master to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding multiple development teams to adopt and mature their agile practices, ensuring seamless project delivery and continuous improvement within our innovative technology landscape. As a true servant-leader, you will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, proactively identify and remove impediments, and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and relentless pursuit of excellence across your assigned teams.
Your day-to-day will involve hands-on coaching of product owners and development teams on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practices. You will empower them to self-organize, manage their work effectively, and work cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives. You will be a staunch champion for agile values, driving continuous improvement through insightful retrospectives and acting as a vital change agent within the organization. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from your preferred location within the UK, collaborating closely with geographically dispersed teams using modern communication and collaboration tools, ensuring everyone stays connected and aligned.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach the development team and Product Owner in Scrum principles and agile best practices.
- Remove impediments and resolve blockers to ensure team progress and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, self-organization, and accountability within the teams.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Help the team adhere to Scrum values and principles, adapting to changing requirements where necessary.
- Contribute to the scaling of agile practices across the wider organization.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
Required Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (e.g., PSM I)
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Proven ability to identify and remove impediments.
- Experience working with remote and geographically distributed teams.
- Proficiency with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II).
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
- Background in software development or quality assurance.
