Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and support to youth during program activities, outings, and daily interactions.
- Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of educational, recreational, and social programs.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor, encouraging youth to develop healthy behaviors, decision-making skills, and self-esteem.
- Observe and assess the needs and behaviors of youth, reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming program environment.
- Engage with youth in a respectful and encouraging manner, building rapport and trust.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide basic administrative support as needed, including attendance tracking and supply management.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse environment where all youth feel valued and respected.
- Assist with conflict resolution and crisis intervention under the guidance of senior staff.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated passion for working with children and adolescents.

Preferred Qualifications
- Some prior experience (volunteer or paid) working with youth in a structured setting (e.g., camp counselor, tutor, coach).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Currently enrolled in or possessing a degree/diploma in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
