As our Medical Director, you will be instrumental in guiding the clinical development programs from conception through commercialization. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic medical oversight for clinical development programs across various therapeutic areas.
- Design and develop clinical trial protocols, study reports, and related clinical documents.
- Serve as the primary medical expert for assigned projects, guiding cross-functional teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to GCP, GVP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor patient safety, assess adverse events, and contribute to pharmacovigilance activities.
- Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, presenting findings internally and externally.
- Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and medical education initiatives.
- Manage and mentor clinical team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Participate in due diligence efforts for potential new assets and business development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with an active license to practice.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
- Expertise in clinical trial design, execution, and interpretation.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, Health Canada, EMA) and GCP guidelines.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in a relevant therapeutic area.
