As an Entry-Level Painter, you’ll be an integral part of our project teams, transforming residential and commercial spaces with fresh coats of paint. Your journey will begin with understanding surface preparation – cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching – laying the crucial foundation for a flawless finish. You’ll learn how to properly mix paints, apply primers, and execute precise brush and roller techniques, ensuring even coverage and sharp lines. Safety is paramount, and you will be thoroughly trained on the correct use of ladders, scaffolding, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing work sites, including covering furniture, laying drop cloths, and taping off areas.
- Clean, sand, scrape, and patch surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for paint application.
- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes (primers, sealers, varnishes) using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment under supervision.
- Learn and practice proper painting techniques for various surfaces and finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout projects.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Load and unload painting supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with clean-up at the end of each workday and project completion.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
