Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including skimming surfaces, vacuuming pool bottoms, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets.
- Monitor and adjust pool chemical levels (chlorine, pH, alkalinity) using test kits and appropriate chemicals.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters for proper operation and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of pool readings, chemical dosages, and services performed for each client.
- Ensure all pool areas are tidy and free of debris, including surrounding decks and equipment areas.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients regarding pool status and any recommended actions.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines for chemical handling and equipment usage.
- Manage and organize cleaning tools and supplies in the company vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on a daily route.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool cleaning or general maintenance roles.
- Knowledge of pool chemistry and filtration systems.
