Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Replenish room supplies, amenities, and linen, ensuring all items are adequately stocked and arranged neatly.
- Inspect rooms for repairs or maintenance needs and report any deficiencies promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, carts, and equipment.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor and manage lost and found items according to hotel policy.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects, as well as stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
